Bedeck is seeking an experienced, creative and commercially minded Senior Designer to join our dynamic Design Team in our purpose-built Design Studio. This is a key role within the department, responsible for leading the design and development of innovative home textile collections, driving creative direction, and ensuring products align with brand strategy and market trends.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong eye for colour, pattern and product development, and have a proven ability to deliver commercially successful collections from concept through to production. They will also support and mentor junior team members, contributing to the continued growth and success of the design function.

What You’ll Do

Design Leadership & Development

  • Lead the design and development of innovative and commercially successful collections across bed, bath, window and home accessories.
  • Drive multiple projects simultaneously, managing the complete design process from initial concept through to final production.
  • Present seasonal concepts, design strategies and final collections to the Head of Design and wider business stakeholders.
  • Ensure all designs meet brand standards, quality expectations and commercial objectives.

Creative Direction & Trend Analysis

  • Research and interpret global trends, consumer insights, competitor activity and emerging textile innovations.
  • Translate market intelligence into commercially relevant product concepts that strengthen Bedeck's market position.
  • Champion creativity and innovation across all product categories.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with the Design Team, Sales, Licensing Partners and Manufacturing Partners to deliver successful collections.
  • Build strong working relationships with external suppliers and licensors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout development.

CAD & Technical Design

  • Expertly utilise CAD software to create design concepts, colourways, repeats, technical artwork and detailed product specifications.
  • Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, comprehensive and production ready.

Production & Project Management

  • Manage supplier briefs, sampling programmes and artwork approvals, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor product development timelines and proactively resolve design and production challenges.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the product development process.

Coaching & Team Development

  • Provide guidance, support and mentorship to Junior Designers and other members of the Design Team.
  • Share best practice, encourage creative development and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
  • Support the Head of Design with departmental initiatives and workflow planning

What You Need

Essential

·BA (Hons) Textile Design or equivalent qualification.

·Significant experience within a textile, home furnishings or product design environment.

·Proven track record of developing successful commercial collections from concept to production.

·Strong creative and technical design skills, with exceptional attention to detail and colour awareness.

·Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; AVA experience advantageous.

·Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer and market trends.

·Excellent organisational, presentation and communication skills.

·Ability to manage multiple projects and meet demanding deadlines.

·Experience working directly with manufacturers and suppliers.

·Available to travel within the UK and internationally for trend research, supplier visits and creative development.

Desirable

·Previous experience mentoring or leading junior designers.

·Experience working within licensed brand environments.

·Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes and print production techniques.

·Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing product strategy.

Bedeck is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our dynamic Design Team in our purpose-built Design Studio. The ideal candidate will be used to working in a fast-paced design environment. They will have a passion for design and a keen eye for colour and pattern, with the ability to translate concepts into beautiful, market-ready products.

What You’ll Do

Design Development: Create designs for a variety of products for the home, to include textiles for bed, bath, window, and home accessories.

Collaboration: Work within the Bedeck design team, licensing partners, and manufacturers to create successful commercial ‘On Brand’ collections. 

CAD Software: Utilise CAD software to create designs, colourways, and detailed technical specifications

Production Oversight: Responsibility for preparation of precise external supplier briefs whilst working to agreed budgets, deadlines, and monitoring project progress.

Trend Analysis: Stay updated on current home trends and textile technology to ensure designs are innovative and market relevant.

What You Need

Essential

  • BA hons textile design or equivalent
  • Creative, skilled textile designer with commercial acumen and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient in use of Adobe suite. AVA an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Available for travel UK and abroad for creative trips

Desirable

  • Experience in design-led studio environments.
  • Experience liaising directly with printers or production agencies.

About the Role

We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and strengthen Bedeck's presence across retail and wholesale partners throughout island of Ireland.

This role combines strategic account management, business development, visual merchandising, and in-store brand execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales, developing long-term customer partnerships, and ensuring Bedeck brands are presented to the highest standards in-store through effective merchandising and space planning.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Commercial Performance

About the Role

As Retail Store Manager, you’ll be a key part of our brand and a team player in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving commercial success and Monthly and Quarterly store KPI. You’ll be part of a talented team, support in day-to-day operations, and provide excellent customer service and leadership to the Cheshire Oaks customers and team.

What We’re Looking For

·Leadership of a successful team to ensure all staff ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

·Manage the store’s visual merchandising standards by organising and delegating displays and ensuring products are well-presented.

·Ensure the efficiency of transactions and ensure all staff are trained to accurately use the till system, including upselling products to maximise sales opportunities.

·Manage the maintenance of stock levels by replenishing shelves and organising stockroom areas efficiently.

·Support opening and closing procedures as Store Manager, including securing the premises after hours.

·Manage and lead in the organising of promotional events and/or sales campaigns to attract customers.

·Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed as appropriate.

·Proven retail sales and managerial experience with a strong track record in customer service, retail shop floor experience

·A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and late nights

Familiarity with premium homeware or lifestyle products is a plus

Requirements

·Strong communication skills with an ability to engage confidently with customers and team members.

·Previous experience in supervisory/ retail management is preferred.

·Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in visual presentation and stock management.
